Thanks for the update
I'm sure it will be useful to many people,
and we'll take this into account for sure on our next release,
although your solution seems a bit bizare...

We have no reports of similar issues with "c:\Program Files (x86)" directory and it worked fine for me until now (at least on Windows 7) but may be this is a Windows 8 specific issue.
