Find my Font is a software application that runs on your device (PC or mobile) and identifies the fonts in images.
No more wasted time looking for the matching font. Find my Font will identify fonts within a few seconds and give you a list of fonts that resemble your input image. Not only will you find the font that matches the image but you will also find fonts that are similar or close to what you're looking for. Find my Font looks for fonts both on the internet and on your computer (PC editions).

Online and on your computer
Find my Font searches our huge Online Font Database containing both Commercial and Free fonts. The PC edition also searches all your local fonts (installed or not) on your computer. It will identify any font whether you have it on your computer or not.
Lightning Fast Matching
We have put a lot of effort into optimizing the application's font matching functionality. The latest version achieves unprecedented speeds and will return a list of matching and similar fonts winthin a few seconds.
Similar Fonts
Find my Font identfies not only the exact matching font but also similar fonts. So you may use the program to find fonts that 'look like' your prototype or free alternatives of it.

Supported Font Formats
Find my Font supports the following font formats when searching for fonts on your computer. (not applicable on the mobile editions)
TrueType
TrueType has become the most common format for fonts on both the Mac OS and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
TrueType is an outline font standard originally developed by Apple Computer in the late 1980s. It was later adopted by Microsoft.
OpenType
OpenType is a scalable computer font format. It was developed by Microsoft Corporation with the contribution of Adobe Systems. The format is based on its predecessor TrueType, retaining TrueType's basic structure and adding many intricate data structures for prescribing typographic behavior. OpenType fonts are used commonly today on the major computer platforms.
Type 1
Type 1 (also known as PostScript Type 1) fonts are based on Adobe's PostScript language and are widely used in desktop publishing. Type 1 fonts consist usually of two files — one containing the outline font data (extension: .pfb) and another containing the font metrics (extension: .pfm). On the Mac OS the outline font data is stored in a suitcase along with the associated bitmap fonts for on-screen display.
