I totally get what you mean, having a larger database but a small result limit can make searching feel frustrating. A pagination option or a load more feature would definitely improve the experience for people exploring archives. It reminds me of how some game libraries like 'Jewel Boom Super Drop' make browsing smoother when there are plenty of options to discover. Hopefully they consider expanding the limit.

The issue will be addressed in the next major version.
