We currently have no plans to make a Linux edition,
because we don't have enough requests for it
- actually you are the first person to ask about it.

A rough estimation is that a port to Linux will require a developing effort of about 2 man-months + the additional effort of keeping the Linux edition up-to-date on every version update, therefore there must be a fair amount of customers requesting a Linux edition to motivate us to go for it.

I suspect that professional graphic designers, sign-makers etc.
do not use a lot of Linux, but if we receive more requests in the future,
we may reconsider our plans.
