Biggest problem we have is fonts. Cannot open jobs on different computers as we use 6,000+ fonts and NEVER have the same on every computer.

We need a program to sync fonts between 6 computers all running win7-64 - something like
www.myfonts.com/info/skyfonts/ but I don't want to tie myself to one company.

THANK YOU "Find My Font" as YOU save us HUNDREDS of hours every week finding fonts!!!!!

Hi John,

and thank you for your kind words :)
We are proud for Find my Font and we always enjoy to hear
that it's a really helpful utility on everyday work.

I don't know what to propose for your problem.
I suppose Skyfonts only works with the fonts you buy from myfonts.com,
therefore it's not a universal solution.

If all 6 computers are connected to the same network,
a first step is to create a common shared repository
(a shared folder in one of these computers or in a separate server-computer)
and have all 6 operators to agree that they will also store there any font
they use/install on their computer.

Each time you open a job and a font is missing (not installed on current computer),
you can search for it on this shared folder and manually install it.
You can create sub-folders under the main shared folder, named 'A', 'B', etc.
and store the fonts according to their initial family letter
to make the search a bit easier.

You can also create a special fontset in Find my Font using this shared folder,
so you can easily identify any of these fonts on an image,
and then right click on it and choose 'install'.

Maybe there is a font manager out there,
which comes with this ability to synch fonts between computers based on a common fonts repository,
but I really don't know a specific appropriate software to suggest.

I hope that some of the above
can help you a bit to solve your problem.
